We empathize with communities of victims and essential workers in humanitarian crisis areas and want to offer our support. Therefore, we voluntarily try to keep all of our app’s functionalities freely available in these regions, and for refugees leaving these areas, ensuring everyone can access the EMDR app's stimulations at any time, any place.
In order to create a list of humanitarian crisis areas, we considered the following authorities:
• United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) – crises list;
• United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) – list of ongoing emergencies;
• International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) – list of humanitarian crises areas.
We use the ISO 3166 standard to determine which country each area belongs to.
